What is the Ultra Tesla Seat?
The Ultra Tesla Seat looks like a big round armchair with a small target in the centre. This incredible chair uses High-Intensity Electromagnetic technology to cause muscular contractions in your pelvic floor, essentially exercising your pelvic floor for you. The high-intensity means that you’ll be doing the equivalent of 12,000-19,000 kegel squeezes in just 28 minutes, something that would not be possible to do manually. Even if you cannot currently manually contract your pelvic floor, this seat will help you regain that control.
How does it work?
There are six different modes on the chair which will help your therapist personalise your treatment to suit you. From minor sexual dysfunction to helping repair your pelvic floor post-partum, the range of settings will be adjusted to suit where you are in your journey.
The magnetic stimulation triggers your pelvic floor muscles to contract. Your nerves will send neurotransmitters to your brain and over time will help to repair the connection between your brain and your pelvic floor. As an example this means that you will less often be going to the toilet ‘just in case’ as you will have a better relationship between the nerve tissue in your pelvic floor and brain.
How long until I see results?
We recommend a course of six treatments as a minimum. Please remember that this treatment is exercise so results can only become apparent and be maintained with consistent use, especially at the beginning of your course.
Most people will see an improvement after 3-4 sessions but everyone’s experience will differ slightly, as no two circumstances are the same.
Treatments must be booked twice per week with a minimum gap of 48 hours between treatments for 6 treatments.
Is there down time?
There is no down time with this treatment, you can carry on your day as usual after your session. Like with going to the gym, your muscles will need rest time between appointments, which is why we leave at least 48 hours between appointments.
How does it feel?
You will likely feel a mild tingling sensation at the point of contact. There is no pain associated with this treatment.
Who is this for?
The seat is suitable for adults over 18 and especially helpful for those who:
- Have been recently pregnant, especially vaginal deliveries
- Have had surgery in the pelvic floor region e.g. hysterectomy or prostate surgery
- Are menopausal – as reduced oestrogen causes muscle weakness.
- Suffer with urinary tract infections
- Want to improve their sexual function
- Lift heavy weights without engaging their core
You will be required to attend a brief consultation before your treatment commences to ensure that this is suitable for you. You will be able to start your treatment immediately if the treatment is deemed suitable.
You can’t have this treatment if:
- You have a copper coil fitted. Mirena coil is fine.
- You are currently menstruating
- You are currently breastfeeding or pregnant
- You have a pacemaker
- You have stage 3 uterine prolapse

- If you have a joint replacement in your hip or knee, you can only have this treatment if the metal plates, pins and rods are all titanium. If in doubt please contact your GP to check suitability.
- Jewellery must be removed.
- Any belts or piercings within a 50cm radius of your pelvis must be removed.

How does Microneedling work?

Your appointment is reserved especially for you and, while we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are necessary, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply if you fail to give at least 24 hours’ notice that you will not be able to make your appointment.
Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
‘No shows’ will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
